The Atrium - Wintec
Combining the old with the new, The Atrium at Wintec is traditional yet contemporary, providing elegant event facilities right here in the heart of Hamilton’s CBD.
Located in one of the city’s historic buildings and recently restored to the highest modern standards, The Atrium is bound to impress. With its original brick façade, stunning glass walls, adorned ceilings and antique wood finish, The Atrium is the perfect space to make any event a success.
Wintec is a proud member of the Energy Efficient and Conservation Authority Energy Wise Programme and strives to ensure that we offer modern, safe and inviting campuses whilst reducing energy expenditure. The Atrium utilises natural light through floor to ceiling glass to save on lighting usage throughout the day. A recycling programme has been implemented to ensure that all plastic and glass bottle waste from events is recycled.
As an organisation Wintec has dedicated committees which meet regularly to minimise the negative effects of waste, energy and transport by staff and on its campuses. In August 2010 Wintec began a recycling project in departmental areas to ensure that waste is monitored and recycled. Looking towards the future, Wintec has identified and is committed to creating a more sustainable campus and community where energy efficiency and environmental care are a priority.

There are two floors of modern rooms to choose from, each with up-to-date audio-visual equipment and video conferencing technology. The generous art-adorned hallway spaces provide break-out areas for your delegates to network between sessions.
